Original era manufacture. A clean example ofa classic Luftwaffe helmet from WWII, made by Quist, and size marked 64 on the neckskirt. Original decals as shown.The satin finish paint is in general good repair except for the top of the helmet where it appears something was spilled on it at one time, causing the paint to bubble and peel. The decals were not damaged and are quite clear.Original and correct pattern leather liner with its original drawstring intact, none of the fingers have been pulled through. On the inside of the liner is a Luftwaffe property stamp of LBA37.Original early pattern rivets secure the linerto the helmet, each with its correct slot washer. Traces of the inkstamped oval can be seen on the interior of the crown.Old replacement (replica) chinstrap.
