Original era manufacture. OK, I'm confused on this one. Basically we have a typical M35 style German helmet, German leather liner (size marked 59), without slot washers on the rivets. The exterior is devoid of any original paint finish, and on the front, you can see an area of smoothed welding, perhaps to affix a metal loop to the front of the helmet, similar to a Spanish helmet. The necksirts show a base color similar to a Luftwaffe blue, with a mud brown paint applied over the top. No maker or size markings are visible, nor can I see a lot number. Possibly a German helmet left over from the Spanish Civil War, and then converted for use later for the Spanish military?
