Original era manufacture. German WWII M1940 Luftschutz Combat pattern helmet which may have been reused post WWII in a fire brigade. Clear markings on the inside of the helmet skirt, Q62 (Quist mfg) with a lot number of T605. Mix of blue and black paint on the exterior with the original Luftschutz decal visible under the paint. Sound brown leather liner with crown pad, with leather tabs on the sides and rear for attaching a leather neck protector. Sound black leather adjustable chinstrap.
