Original period manufacture.Standard Quist production M1940 steel helmet, which is complete with its original liner and chinstrap. Maker marked on the back of the neckskirt instead of the side. Black paint finish with a handpainted RAD type emblem on the left side of the helmet, done in silver and black paint. The liner shows wear with two of the fingers being torn away, another about to go, with the ends of all tied together with a brown cotton shoestring. All rivet slot washers are in place, the liner band is nice and snug inside the helmet bowl, pliable dark leather chinstrap with faint markings stamped into the end of the strap. *Please note, in our photos there is a red coloring on the rear of the helmet, this is only a reflection from a German flag which was next to be photographed. The helmet's finish is the same color and texture throughout.
