Original era manufacture. A first pattern tropical helmet with a tan cloth covering, leather chinstrap and edge bindiing, brought home by T-3 John P. Rodrigues, Company A, 136th Maintenance Company, 14th Armored Division. Both shields are intact.  Standard red cotton lining, and leather sweatband, displaying wear to the leather binding with some exposure of the cork rim. The helmet body is not crushed or broken, with no damage to the crown.
