Original era manufacture. A first pattern helmet with a tan cloth covering, leather chinstrap, and leather binding to the helmet's edge.Both shields are intact, although one looks to be missing a lower prong. Standard red cotton lining, and B.K.42 dated leather sweatband, size marked 55.The helmet body is not crushed or broken, with no damage to the crown. There is a moisture stain on the top likely from old storage.
