Original period manufacture. A sound example for restoration, dark gray rough texture exterior, has a bit of a Luftwaffe hue to it. Original liner band with all three rivets and slotted washersin place, leather liner and chinstrap are missing.I've taken this helmet intobright sunlight in order to try and read the size and date markingson the liner band. However the interior color is decidedly Luftwaffe in my opinion. The helmet is small, measuring 9.5 inches across. No dents or corrosion issues, good restoration candidate.
