German WWII M1942 Late War Helmet Shell & Liner Band

Original era manufacture. Late war manufactured steel helmet, with its original paint finish intact and a very clear makers oval inkstamp inside the crown. Size marked NS66 on the neck skirt, all three original rivets are present with liner band. To my eye the paint finish appears to be green, however there is evidence of perhaps a Luftwaffe eagle being on the left side at one point in time, perhaps collector done. Typical surface corrosion to the exterior, it has not been cleaned or oiled.
