Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Luftwaffe issue M1940 steel helmet with original decal as shown. Maker and size marked on the neckskirt, SE64, original paint finish on the shell and rivets. The helmet liner is original and complete but I feel it has been added by a previous owner. When the installation was done they did put the slot washers onto the prongs of the rivets properly. I could be mistaken but it the liner just doesn't look to have been in there for the past 70 years, still an original WWII leather liner and band. Replaced leather chinstrap improperly installed.
