Original era manufacture. German WWII matching K98 bayonet & scabbard, Herder 1939  2316c. Satin blue finish blade with real no corrosion issues, spot of finish loss on both sides of the blade behind the tip. Mix of mostly blue and steel patina finish to the guard, flash guard and pommel. Dark plum bakelite grips in good repair. Matching steel scabbard with scattered areas of light surface denting, with some touching up to the finish I believe. No corrosion issues. Sound dismounted pattern frog, showing surface scuffing to the body, maker marked reverse and dated 1943.
