Original era manufacture. German WWII matching K98 bayonet and scabbard, 2904q, E.U.F. Horster. Steel patina finish to all of the metal components except the blade, which shows a decent amount of the blue remaining. Evidently stored in a damp atmosphere for many years, as surface corrosion is visible on the pommel, guard and scabbard. Original black leather frog which has remained pliable with an unbroken pommel strap. Dark plum bakelite grips.  The blade draws easily from the scabbard, the pommel button does not operate, needs a little tlc.
