Original era manufacture. German WWII matching numbers K98 bayonet and scabbard. Maker marked MUNDLOS 1939, serial number 4015b. Satin blue finish to the blade, sharp point, with no corrosion issues. Steel patina and light surface corrosion on the guard and pommel, dark plum bakelite grips. Dent free scabbard showing evidence of where a leather frog once was in place. Mix of blue and dark steel patina finish, no pitting.
