Original era manufacture. A clean, late war example with dark red bakelite grips and a rough milled finish to the steel. Matching serial number 6622d, blade to scabbard. Nearly all of the original finish remains on the blade however the edge has been sharpened, albeit, intelligently. Most of the original finish remains on the pommel and guard with some light surface corrosion visible. Matching finish scabbard with throat screw, lightly dented near the tip. Very clean overall.
