Original era manufacture. A very clean example featuring a matching blade to scabbard serial number of 5026s, 39 date on the spine, and makers name on the ricasso. Dark plum bakelite grips in good repair, very nice satin blue finished blade, guard and pommel. The scabbard is dent-free and shows a mix of steel patina and blue. Sound original leather frog with traces of the makers name on the reverse. The pommel strap shows wear and dryness around the closure hole and upper edge.
