Original era manufacture. A large, leather trimmed, gray canvas pouch designed to carry four, 20 round magazines for the MG-13 light machine gun. These were worn in pairs by a wide canvas support strap which went around the gunners shoulders. In addition these could be carried singly by the canvas hand loop found on one side. Each of the magazines are in sound condition, bearing waffenamt proofs and the letters BSW. The pouch is sound, with waffenamt inkstamps under the flaps; one of the pouch flap securing straps has been shortened.
