Original period manufacture. A seldom seen, large format, minefield marking flag of printed cotton, measuring roughly 7x7 inches.The flag exhibits considerable wear and use with adhesive residue in the upper corners from being mounted to a display of some type; perhaps an album.Written on both sides are period GI descriptions of what he thought this was, and the type of vehicle it was taken from; a MK VII Pantiger at Hilden (a small German city near Dusseldorf). On the reverse he has again written Hilden, below The Ruhr "88" , and finally at the bottom his name and service number. A great WWII souvenir.
