Original era manufacture. A complete example as received from the family of Sergeant L. Willoughby, 89th Chemical Mortar Battalion who brought this home from WWII.Standard model enlisted Police shako, with a green wool covering over the fibre body. Size marked 58 inside the crown, and complete with its original field badge, aluminum eagle and chinstrap.There is a crease in the front peak of the visor, and the wool covering displays scattered moth damage. Still an honest original example from WWII, and right from the Veteran's family.
