Original era manufacture. A beautiful example of an Infantry officers full dress waffenrock. Purchased by a Captain of reserves in the 14th Infantry Regiment in what may be 1937. Tailor's label and the man's name on the inside tunic pocket with an embroidered tailor's tag on the outside. The tunic is as bright and clean as if it were purchased yesterday with the only flaw being a small 2x4mm mothbite on the backside of the collar. All original sewn insignia throughout, the aigulette was on the tunic at the time of our purchase. On the left breast are loops for a significant amount of orders and medals. As this waffenrock was purchased from the estate of a local collector they may have been added by him, or not, perhaps research into the career of the original owner can shed some light on the story. In either case they will come  in handy for display. One of the nicest condition uniforms we have ever offered for sale. Size about a 40 regular.
