Original era manufacture. Pebbled aluminum buckle with feldgrau paint in the receses and on the reverse. Original sewn brown leather tab shows a clear makers mark and 1939 date in addition to a Kriegsmarine proof of the letter M beneath a swastika. Some of the stitching has loosened up and is now missing on three sides, however the stitching closest to the prong bar is intact.
