Original era manufacture. Etched panels on each side of the chrome finished blade, with an Eickhorn proof on one side. The blade is basically clean, with some areas of scattered staining on the surface, the point is slightly bent. Original, well-worn knot in correct tie on the guard, some cracks in the grip surface on the front as shown, and on the reverse, similar cracks and a small chip. Lightening bolt decorated brass patina finished scabbard with a single shallow dent near the tip. Honest WWII Kriegsmarine dagger, displaying normal age and wear.
