Original era manufacture. A sound example, purchased with the NSDAP flag we just put on today. Weyersberg logo on the blade ricasso, etched panels with a fouled anchor motif on each side of the blade. The blade is clean, no corrosion issues with the tip being very slightly blunted. Nice gilded brass guard and pommel, no cracks in the grip surface and the wire binding is taut. The pommel eagle is secure, and does not move easily. Dent free, gold washed steel scabbard with the typical lightening bolt decoration. Only flaw with this dagger is that somehow the small throat securing screws were removed, and then lost. The lock mechanism works properly, just need a set of replacement screws.
