Original era manufacture. A well worn example, but certainly illustrating the fact that it saw an active life during the era, and not sitting in a storage-room drawer somewhere.All cotton construction, with a folded and sewn, black tape swastika, on a machine stitched white cotton disc. The reverse of the armband shows an extra section of different hue, red cotton material, hand-stitched to the body so as to be able to be worn on a larger, or thicker garment; perhaps an overcoat.   Scattered staining and soiling to the fabric; a classic WWII GI souvenir.
