Original period manufacture. Early quality armband of red wool, with a ribbed, black tape swastika machine sewn to a ribbed white cotton disc. There are loose brown threads on the upper and lower edge from being sewn to a tunic or overcoat.On the inside of the armband is an original paper RZM tag. Light mothing, but quite clean overall. Original WWII German souvenirs brought home by a US Army 3rdInfantry Division veteran Mr. Robert Gelhoff of Wisconsin. These items were obtained by Mr. Gelhoff during his service in WWII. He served with the 3rdDivision throughout WWII, seeing combat in North Africa, Sicily, Anzio, Southern France and Germany.
