Original era manufacture. German WWII NSKK Traffic Education Service Gorget, complete with neck chain and green wool felt backing. Nearly 100% of the finish remains on the surface of the gorget, individually applied numbers. Surface mothing to the reverse; the aluminum centering tab is missing. This item represents one of the WWII German souvenirs brought home from WWII by a local Arizona veteran. Unfortunately our seller was not able to provide details regarding the gentleman's service. However he did keep the box which held the items in the Veterans home for many years. This box will be included with the helmet.
