German WWII Ortsgruppe Level NSDAP Leaders Blue Piped Visor Hat, Restoration Project

Original era manufacture. Golden brown wool hat which is piped in light blue with a brown velvet cap band. No moth issues to report and the hat is complete with all of its proper insignia. The restoration part of this hat is as follows, due to poor postwar storage the hat body has become out of round which has resulted in the stitching breaking loose at the visor and parts of the oilcloth sweatband. The visor is still attached to the hat at its center and there is an RZM tag underneath the sweatband.  Doesn't look to have ever had a sweat diamond, handwritten name in the lining. This would be a nice hat with a little effort.
