Original era publication. A large format, hardcover book published in 1942. It details in a photographic telling of the assault on the island fortress of Crete during WWII. While victorious for the Germans, it was a pyrrhic victory in many respects. Book is about 100 pages with excellent photo content. Spine shows damage with the title having come away, it is still with us though, safely tucked inside the front cover. Overall the book shows handling and wear, but didn't notice any torn or missing pages.
