Commercially produced patriotic postcard, depicting a Kriegsmarine Picket Boat.The reverse has a feldpost cancellation dated 1944, with a very clear message, from a Father to his presumably young son, thanking the son for his recentlyreceived birthday greeting.The father goes on to say that they recently shot down a large airplane and that 6 men parachuted away.Normal handling and wear.
