Original period manufacture. Black and white image of the Light Cruiser Karlsruhe, a ship which served the German navy from 1929-1940, toinclude a visit to San Diego in 1934.She provided transport for troops during the invasion of Norway, only to be hit with two torpedoeslaunched from British aircraft on her return to Germany. Unable to regain power, and unable to stop the flooding she was scuttled by aGerman torpedo boat.
