Original era photography. Over 200 BW photos, most of which are identified, detailing the service of a German serviceman from 1933-1941. He began his service in the army serving as a cavalryman in Reiterregiment 13, then after his discharge, becoming involved with the Deutsche Luft-Hansa company 1934-1935 and perhaps traveling to the USA aboard the Graf Zeppelin. In May of 1935 he joined the Luftwaffe 3rd Kampfgeschwader, 10th Kampfgeschwader, 1st Sturzkampfgeschwader, then 1939-1941 Sturzkampf-Fliegerschule until May 1941 when the album ends. Excellent detail, several candid photos of FM von Blomberg, French POW's 1940, aircraft and military life in general. Nice patriotic cover.
