Original era photography. The lot consist of an interesting army photo album of 122 bw images, detailing one soldiers experiences during the invasion of Yugoslavia in 1941. There are some good images of vehicles, trains, .37 PAK guns, Victory Parade and of course tourist shots. Most of the pages are identified as to content.Also, a large lot of around 50 period postcards, most of them having a civilian content, and most of them having been mailed. Lastly, an incomplete army photo album, of a soldiers journey through southern Germany, Austria and Italy on his way with his Signal unit to North Africa. Most of the soldiers are shown in tropical uniform, with the content being mostly tourist in nature. Most pages are identified as to content, around 60 photos all told.One of the souvenirs brought home by a US Army officer who served with the 282nd Combat Engineers.
