Original era photography. 56 B&W images prepared by a German Army unit stationed in Clermont-Ferrand France during WWII. They were charged with overseeing the production or filling of artillery projectiles for the Wehrmacht. Must have been fairly "cushy" duty to have been stationed there instead of the Eastern Front. All of the photographs are identified with a short history of the area and operation. Shows typical age and wear, no missing photos or damage.
