Original period photography. This is quite a large set, all from the same man or family, most of which details his service in the German Army during WWII. There are 460 bw photos taken during the course of his service, training, marksmanship, hanging out with his pals and quite a few showing service on the Russian Front. Good details of uniforms, equipment, weapons (Sturmgeschutz in winter camo) dead Russians, shot down Russian aircraft and destroyed T-34, wounded Germans and soldiers graves. The postwar albums are interesting as well, most look to have been done in the mid-1950's with a trip to Paris, views of German castles and flora, one has a shot of an early VW convertible in it.
