Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Police bayonet with a black leather scabbard with sound stitching. Matching unit marks guard to scabbard throat, S.Me.II.571. Nice stag grips with an aluminum Police eagle. The blade is bright and clean looking but some Dolt figured he was "a gonna put an edge on'er". Subsequently this disastrous attempt resulted in grind marks along both sides of the edge. Thankfully, Brainiac didn't destroy the outline of the blade. Perhaps someone more talented than I can properly dress the steel and make those offending grind marks disappear. Decent bayonet otherwise.
