Original era manufacture. Standard model bayonet with a black leather frog and scabbard body for City Police issue. The blade is quite clean with a little bit of a tweak near the tip. Decent chromed pommel and guard of a pattern without the bayonet lug slot. The scabbard stitching is tight with a crease in the body just above the lower fitting. The black leather frog boasts four copper rivets with sound stitching. A Police pattern knot is wrapped around the frog and shows a significant amount of fraying to the wire in the strap. The blade fits snugly in the scabbard and it takes a bit of a push to close the last 1/4 inch gap between the guard and scabbard throat. Still a clean Police bayonet.
