Original era manufacture. A sound example in brown trim, instead of the more usually encountered black municipal example. Hans Romer manufacture, in a size 58.The body is sound, it has not been distorted from storage and best of all no moth damage to the wool covering. Stitching is sound throughout and it presents a very clean and bright appearance.No field badge or chinstrap, they just got separated from the helmet over the years.One of the souvenirs brought home from WWII by a US Army officer who served with the 282nd Combat Engineers.
