Original era manufacture. Dark blue wool visor hat with a dark blue velvet band and bright orange piping throughout. Proper metal insignia on front, gray zinc eagle and circular aluminum wreath with black-silver-red cockade. Simple fibre visor with remnants of the original chinstrap. Intact oilcloth sweatband with an orange colored oilcloth liner, clear plastic sweatshield with the makers name. The overall condition is good, not crushed flat or broken. One side of the visor has pulled its stitching a bit and there is some scattered mothing mostly on the top piping. Nice looking hat and a decent restoration project.
