Original era manufacture. Dark blue wool visor hat with a black wool band piped in red. Bright aluminum eagle and three color cockade adorn the front of the hat. Very nice liner with a Koln makers label, large size about a 60. The came without a chinstrap and shows some rubbing wear on the crown piping and along the sides. It is very clean, with minimal wear and is not crushed or broken. This hat was one of many souvenirs brought home to the US after the end of WWII by Corporal R.D.Easler, 3468th Ordnance Company, US Army.
