Original period manufacture. Dark blue wool, saddle-shaped visor hat with orange piping and a blue velvet band. Light blue cotton lining with a lightly damaged sweatshield, brown leather sweatband. Original nice quality silvered eagle and wreath insignia on the front of the hat. Black patent leather chinstrap and visor. No moth issues to report beyond a single pin sized bite on the piping.The front of the hat is slightly pushed forward but the hat is quite clean and displays very well.
