Original era manufacture. An outstanding example of POW art, applied to the aluminum body of a WWII German issue canteen. One side depicts the travels of the individual soldier; Polen, Italien, Sizilien, Algerien, Tschechei, Amerika. At center is a panel showing a Russian house, with a setting (or rising) Nazi sun, above Russland 1941. The other side shows a depiction of the POW enclosure at Trinidad Colorado.
