Original era manufacture. Standard pattern hewer worn by enlisted personnel of the RAD. Blade shows an even gray steel patina with clear makers marks on the ricasso, Ed Wusthof. No corrosion issues or nicks in the cutting edge. Real stag grip plates with no cracks or chips, nickel finished guard and pommel. The scabbard body has an old repaint over its original paint finish, decent finsih on the nickel scabbard fittings, one of the lower fitting screws is missing.  A decent example showing normal age and wear.
