Original era manufacture. Standard pattern hewer worn by enlisted personnel of the RAD. Blade shows a clean surface with original crossgrain polish visible and a clear makers marking on the ricasso. Heavy nickel silver guard and eagle-head pommel, with unit markings Fu.805 on the base of the grip. Real stag horn grip plates. Dent free steel bodied scabbard with original paint and silvered fittings. There is wear and age to the paint but would say that about 80% of it remains intact.
