Original period manufacture. A sound example of this massive WWII RAD dagger. Clean blade with very clear motto contrast and makers mark on the ricasso. No blade issues beyond some light scattered staining, no pitting or corrosion damage. Nickel plated pommel and guard showing some age staining and a spot or two where the plating has lifted. Damage free real stag horn grip plates. The scabbard body retains most of its black paint finish with all fitting screws being present. No major dents, just normal age and wear. The elaborate hanger is intact but does show some mothing on the reverse and the patent leather itself shows surface crazing.
