German WWII RAD Issue Enlisted Tunic

Original period manufacture. Army styletunic in olive brown wool with a dark brown wool collar. Original sewn cotton embroidered collar tabs and unit emblem on the left sleeve. Standard NSDAP armband tacked to the sleeve below the unit shield. Silver wire piped slip-on shoulder straps with two silver braid loops at the base of each. Intact and complete factory partial tan cotton lining with numerous RAD issue stamps visible. The tunic has been worn and there is a repaired section on the base of the neck on the tunic and a moth nibble on the collar edge just above. In addition a previous owner opened up the darts on the reverse of the tunic body to perhaps allow it to fit himself or a mannequin for display. There are a few other small scattered moth bites but nothing severe or detracting. The Reichsarbeitsdienst provided large quantities of manpower for the German war effort and actively served in many of the combat areas alongside the Wehrmacht.
