Original era manufacture. Stamped steel construction with a wooden handle affixed to the body of the lantern by a heavy wire bale.Deutsches Reichsbahn eagle marked on the reverse of the body just below the belt hook. The back of the lantern opens up to allow access to the carbide and water container.Sound condition, wear to the surface but no damage or missing parts that I can see.
