Original era manufacture. Bright clean blade with lots of original polish, standard sawback spine with a square tip. Nice silver colored alloy fittings with no damage, sound black plastic grips. Original paint on the scabbard body with nearly all of it intact. Very nice original black leather frog which is clearly dated 1940. All in all a very, very clean example of this popular dagger, showing light age and wear. A bit tough to pull from the scabbard, really strong interior springs.
