German WWII Red Cross Enlisted Hewer and Frog

Original period manufacture. Standard pattern DRK enlisted hewer with a square tip and sawback blade spine. Traces of original polish remain on the blade, with an overall mellow patina to the surface, no corrosion issues. The alloy guard and pommel show a nice finish with no corrosion, the grip sidebars show an old gluerepair on each side, the black plastic grips are sound. Dent free scabbard body which shows a very old repaint, perhaps period done. Very nice black leather frog which is dated 1941 on it's reverse.
