Original period manufacture. Standard pattern DRK enlisted hewer with a square tip and sawback blade spine. Sound black plastic grips with no damage. Mellow patina finish to the pommel, guard and scabbard fittings, no corrosion or damage. Bright finished blade with some light age staining but no damage. Near dent free black painted steel scabbard showing some light scratching to the paint surface and a single shallow dent on the reverse of the scabbard. Very sound black leather frog.
