Original period manufacture. Standard pattern DRK enlisted hewer with a square tip and sawback blade spine. Black plastic grips with the reverse grip plate showing a thin crack which passes through the lower screw fitting. Dark patina finish to the pommel, guard and scabbard fittings, no corrosion or damage. Bright finished blade with some light age staining but no damage. Dent free black painted steel scabbard showing some small scattered areas of missing paint. Original black leather frog with dryness to its edges.
