Original era manufacture. Standard pattern enlisted hewer, no maker mark as is the norm. The blade is bright, displays evidence of light surface rubbing from the scabbard runners, with lots or original polish remaining.The guard and pommel are sound, no cracks or oxidation. Sound black plastic grips without cracks or chips. The scabbard body is dent-free, with most of the original paint intact, all of the fitting screws are present.Very sound original black leather frog.
