Original era manufacture. Early production bayonet with a birdhead pommel and an early Eickhorn trademark of two back-to-back squirrels. 10 inch polished steel blade with no issues, just some light clouding from age. Chrome finished guard and pommel with some scattered areas of staining and cleaned corrosion. Nice black hard rubber grips. Dent free black painted steel scabbard with its throat screw above the frog stud not on the side. The finish is very nice but may be an old repaint. Standard patent leather dress frog with the seam stitching opening up on one side.
